Lumford entertained Gers ‘A’ at the Ballylumford club in a top of the table clash. Lumford went into a 2-0
lead with wins for P. McClure and C. McGarry, the latter winning in 19 & 14 darts with a maximum 180 in
each leg. J. Burns pulled a game back for Gers ‘A’. S. Haggan then restored Lumford’s two game lead
with legs of 23 & 18 darts. K. Magill with a 16 dart leg, C. Gilliland with a 20 dart leg and A. Wilson also
with a 16 dart leg gave Lumford a 6-1 lead before A. McGarry won the last game of the night in 20 darts
for a final score line of 6-2.

Ballypower played host to St. Comgalls, B. McDermott won the first game in 24 & 22 darts & R. Purvis
won the second game to give Ballypower a 2-0 lead. St. Comgalls pulled the score back to 2-2 with wins
for Marc & Marty McCormick, Marty having a 23 dart leg. P. Hastings had a leg of 18 darts in his win to
restore Ballypowers lead before C. O’Toole levelled things up again. S. Saunderson and I. Carson, who
had a 20 dart leg, won the last two games to give a 5-3 victory to Ballypower.

In the final match this week Gers ‘B’ travelled to play Whitehead Rangers. The home team took a 2-0
lead with wins for L. Harrison, 25 & 23 darts and R. Bell who won in 22 & 17 darts. J. Marks pulled a
game back for the Gers before W. Harrison, with legs of 20 & 24 darts and J. McBride put Whitehead into
a 4-1 lead. S. Nelson got a second game for the Gers. G. Wright with legs of 21 &17 darts and G. Jones
won for a final score of 6-2 for Whitehead Rangers. Footnote J. McCourt of Gers ‘A’ hit 180 during his
game but the only trouble was he was on 180 at the time!!!!!

All players are reminded that it’s proper dress code for this competition, black shoes, black trousers and
collared shirts.
